The Common Voice
Summer Chorus Camp
AT UMASS LOWELL
As the sun begins to shine brighter, so does the opportunity for aspiring vocalists to immerse themselves in a week-long celebration of choral excellence. UMass Lowell and Allies in Music Education proudly present The Common Voice Summer Chorus Camp, an enriching experience tailored for high school students entering grades 9 and above in September 2024.
From July 22nd to July 26th, students will embark on a musical journey unlike any other, hosted on UMass Lowell’s South campus. This comprehensive program offers a variety of workshops, classes, and rehearsals, designed to develop practical skills and foster creativity in a supportive environment.
Participants will have the unique chance to refine their craft under the guidance of renowned choral directors and music educators. Among the distinguished leaders at the helm are conductors Brianne Biastoff and Jonathan Richter, whose expertise and passion will inspire and elevate every participant's musical journey.
The camp curriculum features specialized Bass Choir, Treble Choir, and Mixed Choir rehearsals, providing students with a diverse range of experiences to explore and expand their vocal abilities. Whether a seasoned performer or just discovering their voice, every participant will find a place to grow and thrive.
